Rumors are circulating again about NVIDIA possibly killing off the RTX 5090 or ending its run. But NVIDIA’s come right out and said the whole NVIDIA RTX 50 series is still in regular supply.
The 5090 is the beast of gaming GPUs right now; it packs over 21,000 cores, 32GB of GDDR7 RAM, DLSS 4, and a bunch of AI tricks.
It’s not just crushing games; it’s a hot pick for budget AI workstations too. Way cheaper than the pro-grade RTX PRO 6000, which costs a fortune and only has three times the VRAM. The 5090’s a smart swap for that kind of work.
Still, some reports say NVIDIA is slashing production on its top card, and a few sellers are even calling it basically dead in the water.
NVIDIA pushed back hard: “All GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs are available.”
So production’s fine—probably just crazy demand causing spot shortages at stores, making it look like something’s wrong.
As for the Founders Edition vanishing from lists, NVIDIA says those are limited runs. They pull them when stock’s low, but bring them back once more roll in.
