LAS VEGAS, HP has redefined the “all-in-one” computer at CES 2026 with the debut of the HP EliteBoard G1a. Unlike traditional AIOs that house components behind a monitor, this device embeds an entire high-performance Copilot+ PC directly inside a sleek, portable keyboard.
Designed for hybrid workers and minimalist desk setups, the EliteBoard G1a eliminates the need for a bulky tower. Users can simply plug the keyboard into any USB-C monitor to access a full Windows 11 Pro environment.
Compact Power and AI
Despite its thin 12mm profile, the HP EliteBoard G1a is a powerhouse. It is the first device of its kind to be recognized as a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree, featuring:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series (Krackan Point) with an NPU delivering over 50 TOPS for local AI tasks.
- Memory & Storage: Up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB NVMe SSD, both of which are user-upgradable.
- Graphics: Integrated AMD Radeon 800M series, capable of driving dual 4K displays.
- Portability: Weighs approximately 750g (1.65 lbs), making it lighter than most ultra-portable laptops.
Built for the Modern Workspace
The HP EliteBoard G1a is tailored for “hot-desking” and enterprise environments. It features a lattice-free, spill-resistant design with 2mm key travel. For audio, it includes integrated stereo speakers and dual microphones, allowing for video conferencing without additional peripherals.
One of its most unique options is a 32Wh internal battery, which provides up to 3.5 hours of active use. This allows users to move between workstations without shutting down the system. Security is handled by HP Wolf Security for Business and an optional integrated fingerprint reader.
Repairability and Sustainability
In a shift toward longevity, HP designed the EliteBoard G1a to be easily serviceable. IT departments or tech-savvy users can remove the bottom panel to replace the fan, RAM, storage, or even the Wi-Fi module in minutes. The chassis is also constructed using up to 75% recycled plastic.
Availability
The HP EliteBoard G1a is expected to launch on HP.com in March 2026. While official pricing has not yet been disclosed, it will ship in an “Eclipse Gray” finish and include a pre-paired wireless mouse.
