DJI T100S Agricultural Drone Launched: Starting at $5,799

DJI Agriculture has officially introduced the T100S, its new flagship agricultural drone. The DJI T100S brings major upgrades across six key areas: stability, efficiency, intelligence, safety, versatility, and overall value, positioning it as one of the most well-rounded drones in its class.

The DJI T100S offers a strong lifting performance, with a maximum load capacity of 95 kg and a full-load vertical ascent speed of 4 m/s. A new obstacle-avoidance algorithm designed specifically for cargo operations, along with an automatic sway-correction system, helps ensure safer and more stable hoisting. The drone can also record manual flight routes and repeat them automatically between two points, making routine tasks more efficient.

For spreading operations, the DJI T100S features a large 126-liter tank (supporting up to 90 kg of material), allowing it to distribute the equivalent of two standard bags of fertilizer in one go. With a high flow rate of 400 kg/min, overall field-work efficiency is significantly improved. It also supports five interchangeable augers, enabling accurate distribution of various materials ranging from 0.5 to 10 mm in size, useful for everything from fertilizer application to aquaculture feeding.

In terms of spraying, the drone comes equipped with a multi-atomization centrifugal nozzle that increases atomization efficiency by 30%, resulting in more consistent spray performance.

The DJI T100S also receives substantial upgrades in sensing and safety. A new 256-line LiDAR increases point-cloud density by 153% and improves detection of small obstacles, such as power lines, by up to five times. The updated millimeter-wave radar features 130% more transceiver antennas and generates point-cloud data at 250,000 points per second. Coverage for the included insurance has also been improved—from 7 m/s to 10 m/s.

As for pricing, the standard DJI T100S package has a suggested retail price of 6,899 USD, with a limited New Year offer of 5,799 USD. The flagship package is priced at 7,499 USD, with a New Year offer of 6,399 USD.
